How does renting a roll-off dumpster work?

It is easy to rent a roll-off dumpster from us. You can go online at www.rollndumprentals.com, give us a call to the office number 904-600-3776 or send us a text message to 904-993-2199.

Do I Need a Permit for a 12 Yard Dumpster Rental?

If your dumpster can fit on your driveway or private property, you can likely skip the permit process. Check any dumpster rules if your property is governed by a Home Owners Association.

Can I Get My Dumpster Rental First Thing in the Morning?

If appointment is confirmed and we have availability, we can definitely drop the dumpster early in the morning or the afternoon before your start date.

Can the 12 Yard Container Fit on My Driveway?

A 12 yard dumpster should be able to fit on most residential driveways. It's design is suited primarily for residential uses and is optimized to operate in that setting. We recommend placing plywood on your driveway before drop off day to prevent any cracks or damage.

Why Can't I put Refrigerators or AC Units in My Rental?

Refrigerators and AC units contain Freon. Freon is a chemical that can damage the ozone. Freon is not accepted in our dumpsters. Freon appliances should be taken to special disposal facilities. Call your city officials and they can tell you what to do with items like refrigerators or AC units.

Will a 12 Yard Bin be Big Enough for my Project?

Common projects with a 12 yard dumpster rental are half bath remodels, flooring removal, garage clean outs, and general junk removal.

What if my driveway is too steep?

If the driveway is too steep, we will leave the dumpster on the street as close to your home as possible. A permit from the city may need to be purchased, which we can assist with if needed.

What if my dumpster gets full but I am not done with my project?

Give us a call and we will schedule a “dumpster swap”. We will have a new dumpster delivered to you and pick up the one that is full. Dumpster swap fee is $50.00
What size roll-off dumpster should I rent?

Review each dumpster size and what can be used for.

How does roll-off dumpster pricing work?

Pricing is determined by a combination of different factors: 1) The size of the roll-off dumpster, 2) The materials being put in the dumpster (heavier materials can increase costs), and 3) The distance to the nearest landfill or transfer station. Geography can also impact pricing due to city-specific fees, landfill costs, or even just the cost to provide service.

What items are not allowed in a roll-off dumpster?

Mattresses, Household cleaners, Medical Waste, Paint Cans, Oils, Fuel, Asbestos, Appliances, Electronics, Air conditioning units, Concrete, Batteries, Propane/Gas Tanks, Toxic Hazardous Materials.

Do I need a permit to rent a roll-off dumpster?

Dumpster permits are generally only required if you are placing your roll-off dumpster directly on a street, sidewalk or any type of public property. If you are placing your roll-off in your driveway or a privately owned space, you will typically not need a street permit.

How long can I rent a roll-off dumpster?

You can rent a roll-off container for 1, 2 or 3 days, however, this can be extended by calling our office or sending a text to our cell phone at least 24 hours in advance.

Where is the best place to put a roll-off dumpster?

Find a relatively flat area that has at least 3 feet of clearance around each side of the dumpster, at least 22 feet of unobstructed clearance height, and 34 feet of unobstructed room in front of the dumpster for a truck to complete pick-up. If a paved driveway is being used, you may want to consider covering the driveway or putting wood underneath your dumpster to reduce the risk of damage.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept any major credit card or check as long as it is before the delivery date of your dumpster rental.

How much and I put into the dumpster?

You can not fill the dumpster above the top line printed in the can. Everything must be within the top of the dumpster and level. If you fill the dumpster above the line, we will not be able to transport it, and you will be charged a trip fee of $150 or greater.
